"Family" Album by Shelley Hamilton

I made this album for the Scrapbook Expo in February in Grapevine, Texas, for The Crafty Scrapper!
On the front of the album, I used a wooden frame that I covered with Viva's Inka Gold.  I then, stamped on it, using some of Dyan Reaveley's stamps.  In the centers of the flowers on the frame, I used Viva's Paper Pen in Graphite.

The book is new by Heart of Texas Studio and the paper is by Prima.

I used the chipboard embellishments that matched the paper.  On this page, I used Viva's paper pen in Copper (it's one of my FAVORITE) colors!

On this page, I used a chipboard frame by Maya Road, some more Viva Inka Gold, and I used a few of Tim Holtz's new stamps, and some stamps by Dyan Reaveley's as well!

Here, I used Maya Road's new camera chipboard embellishment, as well as Tim Holtz's new Distress Paint to stamp with!
On this page, I used more fun embellishments and some stamping.

This little "memories" lightbulb embellishment is by Prima.   These were fabulous!  Notice Tim's new stamp in the lower left-hand corner!  These were a must-have for me, too!

Here, I used some of the matching embellishments, along with Maya Road twine, and Viva Ferro Special Effect Paste in Amber Gold!

 More Prima goodness!

On this page, I used Dyan Reaveley's stamps and Viva's paper pen in Copper!

This lovely flower embellishment is by Maya Road!

Here, I used Maya Road's new tiny wooden frame embellishment and their tiny metal rose.  I also used Tim Holtz's stamps.

I edged all of the pages with Viva Inka Gold!

I used Dyan Reaveley's numbers stencil and Viva's modeling creme on this page!  All of these wonderful products AND MORE!! lol  are available at THE CRAFTY SCRAPPER in Waxahachie, Texas!  It's everybody's Happy Place!!  Have a wonderful day!

Altered Circus Wagon...

 DSC_0024
Shelley, here with a fun altered piece made with Splash of Color's new HULLABALOO Collection by IOD!
Let's check out this fantastic birthday collection! IDEmFvq0-Btv8R8s8ByftrzdvtvGZPHDNjOkd1lA05E
Isn't this paper the best?  It's so beautifully colored, and has a vintage feel!  So many birthday collections are just very simple.  This one is SIMPLY AWESOME!

Here's my project!!
I took a wooden circus piece and used some of the new Viva Colour products and this gorgeous IOD line to make a fun little conversation piece!

DSC_0026
On the bottom, I used Purple Precious Metal Effect Paint, covered with Gold Crackle paint.  It turned out really lovely!
On this side, I used Hullabloo DS paper and some sentiments from the sticker sheet.

On the top, I used Turquoise Precious Metal Effect Paint.  It has such a smooth, silky texture, that is just perfect!
I used Viva Colour Paint Pens in Dark Carmine, Sunny Yellow, Light Moss, Opal, Light Blue, and Graphite.  I also used the Violet Pearl Pen.  These are so fun to use, and the colors went well with this birthday paper!

To make the top banner piece, I used Jubilant DS paper, with Special Day DS paper underneath!
I painted the little wooden bars with Blackberry Viva Colour Precious Metal Effect Paint.  This paint is so shiny and easy to apply!
I hope you enjoyed this project and seeing the new IOD HULLABALOO Collection, which should be arriving at stores soon!

Have a great day!
Shelley

Love and Respect signs for Rush Creek Church

The pastor at our church asked the congregation to make some signs and take pictures of them for our Facebook pages.  They were to say "Love" and "Respect" to generate interest in his upcoming series at church.  Since I had just returned from CHA in California, I decided to do something similar to what we had done in Dyan Reaveley's class there!  So, I led our Life Group after church on Sunday in making these signs!  They had a great time, and the signs were awesome!

This is a picture of myself and my husband!  Good job, honey!!

And, he said wasn't crafty!  Whatevs!!

James and Amy did a fantastic job, as well!!

Cami and Trey's signs were groovy!

Kathy and Raul did a great job!!

Macy couldn't be left out, either!  Hers might have been the very best one!!

Cami and Trey are our leaders for LifeGroup!

This was such a fun time!  Try it yourself, sometime!!
