Love Layout

Here's a 12"x12" layout I did last year!  Macy sure was excited about riding her bike!  lol

This layout was filled with Maya Road goodies galore!

                       Here is the whole piece!

Fun times!!!  I hope you enjoyed looking!

BLAZE Softball Necklaces

Here are the necklaces that I made for the mothers on our team!  They are pics of their girls under glass.  I soldered them together, then hung some special little danglies from the bottom!

                                                              Here are some close-ups!

I didn't want the girls to feel left out, so I made them these little bottle cap necklaces to wear outside of game time!

I found the print outs on Etsy, then put them in the bottle caps with some Glossy Accents glue.  Then, I used a bit of bling to finish them off!

I stamped these little bags, then colored the images with copic markers.

I gave them to the girls and told them there was something for them in the bags and something for their mothers!  They seemed to be pretty pleased!

I tried to make each bag look just like the girl it was for.  I put their actual number on the cap!

I hope you enjoyed looking!  Check back for more recent projects!  These were from Spring 2014!  lol

DT challenge

Shelley, here, with a Sweet Treat, just in time for Valentine's Day!   This was my entry for the Design Team Challenge from last Valentine's Day(2014)!!

And, now, on with the project!!
I've made a few Valentine's Day Magnets, and decorated a jar to put a few treats in!

For the jar, I took a doilly and sprayed it with Luminarte Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist in Ginger Peach, then daubed the edges with Luminarte Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist in Hot Cinnamon.  After it dried, I covered the inside metal lid, and put the ring around it.  These fabulous cupcakes were made with the "Delightful Cupcakes" Die-Namites Die and some thin metal.  They look good enough to eat!

Here are the magnet-valentines I made!

I started with chipboard pieces.  On the scalloped piece, I used Inka Gold in "Lava Red".  This provided a nice base to start with!  For the top chipboard piece, I used a piece of Cotswald Manor paper.  The "Heart Bouquet" is another awesome die from Die-Namites!  To give the little chipboard bird a little bit of texture, I used the Viva Magic Transparent Pearl Pen.  I glued a piece of magnet on the back of the piece.  So, instead of giving a little Valentine's Day card, I will give my Valentines a little magnet that will have them thinking of me just a little bit longer!

On this magnet, I used the "Delightful Cupcakes" diecut again!  I cut it in two different colors of metal, allowing me to have the cut-out parts in a different color, and then I glued them on!

I hope you enjoyed my project!  Please stop back in regularly to see what wonderful things The Crafty Scrapper has to share!!

"BOMBERS" Baseball Album

Here is the album I made for my son's baseball team, the BOMBERS!

I began with an awesome Heart of Texas Studio album that has a diameter of 10 inches!  This baby is BIG!

I decided to do something a little different that usual.  This season, I used 5"x7" photos instead of the usual 4"x6"s.  I matted every picture...sometimes I double or triple matted!  The other thing I did differently is that I painted all of the pages...several coats, then sealed each one after painting for the shine!

As far as the camoflauge pattern, I hand drew that on the front edge, as you see her, and also on the back page of the album.  It was a little bit of a pain, but hey, it's cheaper than therapy(actually, I'm beginning to wonder about that!  lol)  Heart of Texas Studio let me order the "Bombers" chipboard piece that you see laying on the top.  Pam is good to me!

On some of them, I pop dotted them to add dimension, and on a few, I just left the pics/mats flat.

Around the edges,  I used paint markers and wrote famous baseball quotes.

I was pretty happy with the result.  I took all of the photos, as always, and my husband made some cool edits like this one!

This was at the Travel Sports World Series in June.  BOMBERS took 2nd in the second bracket.  It was a well-fought game, and the boys had to work their way up the losers bracket on Sunday by playing 8 games!  7 of which they won!

We were so proud of them!!  Some things you just never forget!  Love my BOMBERS!!

Here's the back of the album.

We gave them out at the end of season party!  Here was the bag I painted for their albums to go in!  A great time was had by all!!
