Softball Birthday Party

Here is Macy's 11th Birthday party...from 2015.  She was playing in a world series during her birthday week, so we hauled all of her birthday party stuff to the hotel and had her party after one of the games!  Big fun!

Here, you can see some of the decorations...

Evan helped me make the trophy out of plastic bowls and the like from Party City. We used a glue gun to put it all together, then painted it, and made the medallion and the flags.

 the whole party table...

We made a sucker ball for decoration!

Here are her little treat bags!

We made rocky candy bats in the colors of her team!

A closer view of the trophy filled with balls!

Little star shaped candy dishes filled with small chocolate candies.  These are small foam fingers with a wooden pop stuck in the with some tulle and a bling embellishment!

These are mason jars spray painted with chalk paint.  The tops are from a trophy shop.  They were gold and I painted them silver.  I poked a hole in the top of the jar, then screwed the toppers onto the jar.  They were filled with popcorn.  To finish the look I added ribbon and a softball embellishment!

I used a candy medallion spray painted silver, then cut out a wolf out of paper and glued it on.   I attached the medallion with ribbon and hot-glued it to the trophy.  The beaded edges are just plastic beds glued onto the trophy(spray painted afterwards.)  The stars along the bottom of the trophy are pop-dotted stickers that I painted over.  The handles were plastic ladel handles, glued on, then spray painted.

Our family!

This was her softball team!  Little cuties!

 Thanks for looking!

Softball Albums

Here are the softball albums I made for Macy's team in 2015.  The cover had a paper base that I covered with hand-cut felt pieces.  They were the Wolfpack, thus the wolf head on the front.

Here it is the the tassels showing.

We boxed them up for each player!

 Here is Macy with hers!

It was a fun album!

Softball Trading Card Holder/ Softball Necklaces/ Softball Hotel Room Hanger

Here are some little trading card holders I made for my daughter's softball team last year for their World Series.  We had them trading cards made so they could trade them, and I ordered these little acrylic boxes and decorated them so that they could hold their set of cards...one from each girl on the team!

Her team at the time was American Freedom, and the world series was in July, so I decorated them in red, white, and blue.  Each one had the girl's number on the front, along with a little softball girl and some bling!  They seemed to like them!

Here are the necklaces I made the moms before that tournament!

Here are some of the girls at the pin-trading ceremony!

Macy and one of her friends on the team helped me put together these hanging decorations for their hotel doors!

American Freedom Softball Albums and Elf Christmas Bags

Here are the little scrapbooks I made for Macy's softball team from last year.  I made one for each girl and one for each of the two coaches.  I went with the Captain America theme...the books look like part of his shield!  lol
Here is what the front of the album looked like.  The front and the back had a base of just chipboard that I cut out of larger sheets from Michael's.  I glued a piece of white paper down on them(so the colors would show up brightly), then painted them.
I punched hoes on the sides, and bound the book with rings and put ribbon on them.

On the inside, the pages were just white paper, embellished with red white and blue patterned paper, and I embellished lightly!  My husband and I took the pics, as always, so we had plenty shots of each girl!

Here is the little elf bag I painted for them.  I saw a bag that was similar, and I just drew the image on each bag, then painted them.  I put the album in the bag such that the ribbons on the side of the album ended up sticking up from the bag...made me think of a petticoat on a girl elf!  Also, that is supposed to be a BAT (the blue thing).  It was a funny skinny bat!  lol

Here are all of the bags underneath the tree right before they opened them at their Christmas party last year!

One thing that I added to them last minute were the little bells...to the elf shoes!  I poked a hole in the bag, put the gingle bell hole through the bag hole, then safety-pinned them on the inside, this way, the little bells actually jingled!

Hope you enjoyed looking!
